We update Wireless Intelligence on a daily basis as each operator releases its results.
When a new set of results becomes available:
- We normally show them on the site on the next day
- We use them to re-calculate any calculated data points (e.g. capex/sales ratio)>
- We update the forecasts for that operator, using the new actual data to adjust the growth rates of the forecast data points
- We update any estimated data (e.g. technology migration) using the new actual data
- We update any relevant aggregate numbers (e.g. World connections) to take account of the new data.
In addition to the daily updates we carry out quarterly reviews of our estimates and forecasts to make sure that the large number of daily updates give an overall picture that makes sense.
