Where possible we aggregate our data to provide regional and world level views. We do this where we have complete data sets, or where we have a well populated metric. A full list of the data we aggregate is shown below.
Sum
Where the data is a count (e.g. connections, net adds), we add the items of data to reach a total for the country, region or group.
Weighted average
Where the data is a metric of something that is counted (e.g. share of net adds, minutes of use per user per month) we use a weighted sum to reach a total for the country, region or group.
Currency
Where the data involves a financial measure expressed in a currency (e.g revenue, ARPU) we first convert the individual data points into a common currency (user selectable) at historic or spot rates (user selectable), then we perform either a sum or a weighted average, as appropriate.
